Tehran (IP)- The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a meeting with the Austrian ambassador in Tehran, on Wednesday emphasized that Iran has faced the disloyalty and inaction of the claimant countries in the negotiations.

Iran PressIran news: Mohammad Eslami, during the meeting with the Austrian Ambassador to Tehran, Wolfgang Dietrich Heim, referring to the inaction of the European and American sides in the talks for lifting sanctions said: "Only Iran has adhered to its commitments for a long time and has faced the promises and inaction of the claiming countries in the negotiations."

"Eslami" in the meeting, also referring to the inaction of the European parties and the United States in the nuclear negotiations, said: "Today, the real defendant is in the position of the plaintiff."

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, referring to the long history of cooperation between Iran and Austria in various fields and congratulating the Austrian envoy on the Austrian National Day, appreciated the positive approach of this country in political issues.

Eslami further suggested that various countries invite the European parties and the United States to fulfill their obligations in the negotiations.

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran added that the Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to resume Vienna talks if other parties comply with all their obligations under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The Austrian ambassador in Tehran, referring to his country's hosting history in Vienna talks for lifting sanctions, said: "Austria is ready for any kind of assistance in order to advance the positive process of the nuclear talks and will cooperate when necessary."

Under the 2015 deal, Iran curbed its uranium enrichment program in return for lifting economic sanctions. Then the former US President Donald Trump quit the agreement in 2018, and the Israeli regime opposes US efforts to revive it.
