Venezuelan Foreign Minister Félix Plasencia

Tehran (IP) - The Venezuelan Foreign Minister said that his country seeks to invite Iranian companies to invest in his country.

Iran PressIran news: In a press conference with his Iranian counterpart, Félix Plasencia said on Monday: "By the end of the year, we will participate in the joint commission in Tehran to draw the two countries' roadmap that will be a long-term plan."

Calling Iran-Venezuela relations as strategic, Felix Plasencia appreciated his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian condemning the US violation of Venezuela's sovereignty.

"The US flagrantly abducted a Venezuelan government official responsible for talks with the opposition and took him to the United States illegally," he said.

"We strongly condemn the move and thank the Iranian government for its commitment to condemn it," the senior Venezuelan diplomat highlighted.

The Venezuelan Foreign Minister highlighted Iran's 7000-year civilization and its resistance, said the Venezuelan nation wants to consider Iran as their role model in resistance.

Also, underscoring that Iran-Venezuela relations were growing, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian called Venezuela a new opportunity to develop comprehensive cooperation in all areas.
