Colin Powell, former US Secretary of State dies at 84

Former Secretary of State Colin Powell, the first Black Secretary of State, died Monday due to complications from COVID-19.

Iran PressAmerica: He died of complications from COVID-19, his family said in a statement. He was fully vaccinated and was treated at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Mr. Powell was a path breaker serving as the country’s first African American national security adviser, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and secretary of state.
