Iran Press/ Iran news: The study of foreign trade statistics in the first five months of the year also shows the export of 5 billion and 88 million dollars of mineral products and mining industries, which shows a growth of 126 percent compared to last year.
Iran has 68 types of minerals. It has 2.7 billion tons (0/8% percent of the world's total reserves) of iron ore and 2.6 billion tons (0/4% percent of the world's reserves) of copper ore, and 11 million tons of zinc (4 percent of the world's reserves).
The total proven reserves in Iran's mines are estimated at 60 billion tons and are expected to reach more than 100 billion tons.
