Statistics show that Iran's major steel companies exported 3,811,617 tons from the beginning of the current Iranian year (started from 21 March, 2021) to the end of September, which shows a 48% growth compared to the same period last year.

Iran has 68 types of minerals. It has 2.7 billion tons (0/8% percent of the world's total reserves) of iron ore and 2.6 billion tons (0/4% percent of the world's reserves) of copper ore, and 11 million tons of zinc (4 percent of the world's reserves).

The total proven reserves in Iran's mines are estimated at 60 billion tons and are expected to reach more than 100 billion tons.
