Iran's Minister of Industry:

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade said on Saturday that more than 60 economic advisors would be employed to ease Iran's economic diplomacy.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking at the virtual inauguration of Iran's Pavilion at the Dubai International Expo 2020 with heads of Chambers of Commerce and the group of exporters in attendance, Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin added: "Of course, this figure would be increased to 120 advisers in the next two years."

Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade said: "Non-oil exports are very important in this period when oil revenues have decreased, and non-oil exports will provide a good opportunity for the country's economic activation."

He added: "The role of the government is to prioritize, target, regulate and facilitate exports, and on this basis, everything that is necessary to facilitate exports will be done."

Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade added: "Although almost $14 billion worth of raw materials are exported annually from Iran, we do not consider such exports and sales of raw materials."

Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin said: "In the non-oil export sector, we should stay away from selling crude oil."

He added: "Iranian exporters should export goods that few countries have the ability to export, and the products of knowledge-based companies should be given priority for export."

Fatemi Amin said: "Most of Iran's imports and exports are from only 10 countries, and it is necessary to diversify the bases of exports and imports."
