Iran Press/ Iran news: 400 domestic and foreign stone and mining companies have showcased their latest achievements in the exhibition.
Traders from Turkey, Qatar, UAE, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, Italy, Russia, Hungary, alongside the ambassadors of South Africa, Czech Republic, and Bangladesh to Iran have been invited to attend the exhibition.
This is while Iran is one of the countries that produce and export building stone which exports it in the form of raw and also cut stone.
Moreover, mining capacities of all kinds of building stones including 44% of marble, 25% of porcelain, 20% of granite, 10% of travertine are produced in Iran, and the Islamic Republic is the fourth-largest producer of stone in the world.
