Iran Armed Forces Chief of Staff to visit Pakistan

Tehran (IP) - Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed forces Major-General Mohammad Bagheri is scheduled to pay an official visit to Pakistan on Tuesday to expand the country's military diplomacy.

Iran PressIran News: Major General Mohammad Bagheri's visit will take place at the official invitation of General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Pakistan Army Chief of the Staff.

Major General Bagheri is scheduled to meet with senior Pakistani political, military, and security officials at the head of a high-ranking delegation.

Meeting with the Prime Minister, the army commander, the Joint Chief of staff, and some other Pakistani military officials are part of his plan.

Members of the high-ranking military delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran will also visit the port city of Karachi in southern Pakistan and some of its military and naval centers.

Iran's military delegation to the eastern neighbor marks a new stage in strengthening the two countries' military, defense, and security relations.

Due to the security developments in the region and the Islamic world, including the situation in Afghanistan, political and military experts consider the visit of the Iranian delegation to Pakistan vital and effective.
