Iran, Azerbaijan communications ministers meet in Istanbul

Istanbul (IP) - Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan reviewed ways to develop communications and information technology cooperation.

Iran PressAsia: Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Isa Zare'pour met his Azerbaijani counterpart Rashad Nabiyev in Istanbul on the sidelines of the 12th meeting of the Communication and Information Council of the eight developing countries in the region.

After the meeting, Zare'pour said: "We are trying to solve the problems of most of the neighboring countries caused by the digital platforms of the trans-regional countries by developing interactions and establishing regional sovereignty in communication."

He announced a bilateral meeting and talks with his Turkish counterpart as one of his plans for visiting Turkey.
