Arriving in the Lebanese capital Beirut on Thursday morning, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while congratulating the formation of a new government in the country, stated that Tehran will never refuse to help Lebanon if requested.

Iran PressEurope:  "Tehran is absolutely confident that Lebanon will be able to overcome all the difficulties it is facing," Hossein Amirabdollahian stressed, emphasizing Iran's continued support for Lebanon. As the friendly and brotherly people of Lebanon have gone through all the difficult stages they have faced.

In Beirut, the Iranian Foreign Minister is scheduled to meet with President Michel Aoun, Speaker Nabih Berri, Prime Minister Najib Mikati, and Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bo Habib.

Amir Abdullahian will also meet with representatives of Palestinian groups at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beirut.

Simultaneously with the arrival of the Iranian Foreign Minister in Beirut, the Lebanese expressed their gratitude for the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon by publishing the hashtag #welcome_with in cyberspace.
