Kabul (IP) - The Director-General of Operations and Humanitarian Programs at the Red Crescent Society of Iran said that Tehran's humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan will continue.

Iran PressAsia: Hassan Esfandiar, in an interview with Iran Press News Agency on the sidelines of the delivery of humanitarian aid by the Iranian Red Crescent Society to the Afghan Red Crescent Society at Kabul airport, said that the first shipment of Iran's humanitarian aid to the Afghan people was more than 50 tons of foods.

He stated that in the coming days, more aid, including food and medical equipment, will be sent to the people of Afghanistan.

Esfandiar underscored that efforts were being made to help the needy people of Afghanistan through the Afghan Red Crescent Society.
