Iran's FM:

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister said that projects have been defined to revive the Iran-Armenia transit route, including trucks' commutation between the two countries.

Iran PressIran News: Holding a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan on Monday, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said: "Today in Tehran we are drawing a new roadmap for the relations between the two countries. We agreed to cooperate well in the economic, political, cultural, and tourism fields."

Pointed to the rising tensions between Iran's neighbors in the northwestern, Amir-Abdollahian warned about the consequences of the Israeli regime and terrorists' presence in that part of the region.

Iran’s Foreign Minister said the Israeli regime’s presence in the region was Tehran's main concern.

"I do declare that all the problems in the region will be solved through the countries in the region and we will not tolerate any interference of others," said Amir-Abdollahian.

Hossein Amirabdolahian referred to Iran and Armenia’s three meetings in the last twenty days and called them effective.

Iran’s foreign minister added that the two sides talked on various issues including political, cultural, economic, and tourism.

 Armenia ready to reopen transit roads

The Armenian FM for his part appreciated the Islamic Republic of Iran's approach to Armenia's territorial integrity and announced his country's readiness to continue Karabakh negotiations within the 'Minsk Group' framework, based on predetermined principles.

Regarding Iran-Armenia deep relations, Ararat Mirzoyan noted that constructive talks were held between two countries, adding: "Iran, Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia should hold talks to benefit all transit roads."

"Attacks to Armenia endangers peace and security of the region and we do thank Iran for respecting Armenia's territorial integrity," he added.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh also stated that the visit of the Armenian Foreign Minister to Tehran was pre-arranged, adding that the Republic of Azerbaijan should not allow its borders to be abused by a third party against Iran.
