The businessman, former minister, football, and media man Bernard Tapie has died of cancer.

Iran PressEurope: Bernard Tapie died this Sunday, October 3, at the age of 78, from cancer. The man who started as a businessman and president of Olympique de Marseille succumbed to double stomach cancer and esophagus. For years, Bernard Tapie has fought against disease.

Bernard Tapie was a French businessman, politician and occasional actor, singer, and TV host. He was Minister of City Affairs in the government of Pierre Bérégovoy.
