Tehran (IP) - The proposed foreign minister by President Ebrahim Raisi presented his programs to Internal Affairs and the Councils Commission in parliament, and 40% of his plans are economy-oriented.

Iran PressIran news: In an interview with Iran Press, Ruhollah Nejabat, a member of parliament's Internal Affairs and Councils Commission, announced the attendance of Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the proposed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the 13th Iranian administration, in the commission.

He stated that Amir-Abdollahian first expressed his plans, then answered MP's questions.

Stressing asymmetric diplomacy, neighborhood-oriented and looking to Asia foreign policy, using the past experiences in diplomacy, and looking to the East and drawing the opportunities were among the most important issues raised by Amir-Abdollahian.

He said the main point proposed by Amir-Abdollahian was that 40% of his economics-oriented programs were in agriculture, natural resources, and energy.

Amir-Abdollahian also promised to set up a "Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus" as soon as he takes office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and use the ministry's capacity to import vaccines.
