Tehran (IP) - The Ground Force Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says the Islamic Republic does not let any encroachment in the borders with the neighboring countries.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Brigadier-General Mohammad Pakpour said Iran respected the sovereign right of any country that wanted to conduct exercises to enhance its defense power.

Yet, Brigadier-General Pakpour pointed out: "We cannot accept that some countries, under the influence of third countries, make unrealistic and provocative statements regarding the improvement of the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran's combat units, and also harm the country's actions".

He said Iran expected the neighboring border areas and neighboring countries to be a safe and secure environment for the region and other countries, adding: "An alien element, such as the Isreali regime, whose conspiracies and malice against Muslim nations are not hidden from anyone, should not use the soil of its neighbors as a place for achieving its evil and criminal goals."

The commander stressed that the Israeli regime was supporting some countries in the region with the aim of creating discord and division among Muslim nations.
