Karbala (IP) - Arba'een pilgrims demonstrate and condemn the Erbil conference and normalization of relations with the occupying regime in Al-Qods.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to Al-Ahd TV on Monday, many people in Karbala on the sidelines of the Arba'een ceremony expressed their strong opposition to the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime. They chanted slogans against the United States, the Zionist regime, and traitors.

"These conferences are an attempt to bring life back to the body of the Zionist regime," said Mohammad al-Tabatabai, Deputy Secretary-General of the Asaeb Ahl al-Haq Movement in Iraq who took part in the protests.

However, Palestine is custody on the shoulders of all free and honorable people, which is why we strongly condemn any normalization of relations with the Zionist regime, he added.

On Friday, a conference supporting the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime was held in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan, prompting protests and strong reactions from Iraqi political and religious figures.

Following the conference, the Iraqi judiciary issued arrest warrants for the participants.
