Iran Press/Iran news: In a message to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Ebrahim Raisi congratulated the arrival of the country's national day and said: "It is gratifying that in recent years the relations between the two neighboring countries of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia have been on the path of progress."
Raisi added: "The great capacities of the two countries, in addition to the new regional and global conditions, have made the deepening of the relationship between the two countries even more important."
"The redoubled efforts of the two sides to implement the previous agreements have necessitated the discovery of new areas of cooperation and the strengthening of structural ties between the two countries, especially in the fields of transport and energy," Raisi stressed.
Raisi added: "I consider the simultaneous start of the new governments in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia as a good sign and I believe that with the efforts of both countries, significant achievements can be achieved in strengthening regional security and stability and the interests of two friendly nations."
He also emphasized in a message to the President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian: "I hope that with the joint and increasing efforts of the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia, the existing good relations will be expanded at bilateral and international levels to ensure the interests of the two nations in all fields."
