Dushanbe (IP) – At the end of the meeting of Iranian and Tajik presidents, the two countries' officials signed six memoranda of understanding, an agreement and a technical protocol on customs cooperation.

Iran PressAsia: During a meeting with Emomali Rahmon in Dushanbe, Ebrahim Raisi stated that the Iranian and Tajik authorities should establish stable and comprehensive relations through regular meetings and bilateral talks that would become a model for the region.

Referring to the history of cooperation and joint projects implemented by Iranian experts in Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon noted that the existing friendship and love between the people and the government of the two countries is an excellent ground for improving cooperation and relations.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides signed six memoranda of understanding, an agreement, and a technical protocol on customs cooperation.

In addition, the two presidents issued a joint official statement.
