Iran Press/ Asia: Speaking on the occasion of the beginning of the fourth year of establishing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, Arif Alvi said: "Iran, is Pakistan's brother country, which has always been with us in difficult moments."
Appreciating Iran's support, he added: "The government of Pakistan has always emphasized the need for the participation of neighboring countries and the region to solve the challenges ahead, and has considered this principle in explaining its domestic and foreign policies."
Alvi went on to describe the situation in Afghanistan as the most important challenge facing the region.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is a centrist and populist Pakistani political party and the current ruling party of Pakistan. PTI is one of three major political parties of Pakistan and the largest party in terms of seats in the National Assembly as of the 2018 Pakistani general election.
