Iran Press/ Iran news: Meeting with Iraq's Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi on Sunday in Tehran, Iran's Vice President Mohammad Mokhber stressed that trade between the two countries was not commensurate with the economic and political status quo.
Mokhber expressed hope that the agreements reached between the two countries would be implemented as soon as possible by introducing authorized representatives from both sides.
The Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi, for his part, referred to Iraq's needs for the Iranian companies to develop and complete the reconstruction of Iraq and said the country needed Iran's power and gas.
Al-Kazemi appreciated Iran for its help to Iraq in fighting the US-backed ISIS and other terrorist groups and said: "By the end of 2021, a major part of the US forces will have withdrawn from Iraq."
