Iran's MFA condoles Zimbabwean Amb's pass away

Tehran(IP): Following the death of the ambassador of Zimbabwe to Tehran, Iran's Ministry of Foreign affairs extended condolences to the government and nation of Zimbabwe.

Iran PressIran news: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the death of the ambassador of Zimbabwe to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to a report issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran on Thursday, following the announcement of the tragic death of the Ambassador of Zimbabwe in the Islamic Republic of Iran, necessary measures were taken on Wednesday evening in coordination with law enforcement and judicial authorities. In the field of identification and legal formalities, the tasks have been implemented quickly. In this regard, while taking appropriate measures by the General Directorate of Ceremonies, the necessary arrangements have been made in coordination with the Zimbabwean Embassy in Tehran.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Public Relations expressed its condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Iran for the family of the deceased and to the government and people of Zimbabwe.

Christopher Mapanga, began his mission to Tehran in 2018. Earlier, he had been the ambassador to Egypt. Reportedly, he was suffering from liver disease.
