Head of Iran's blind Sports Federation:

Tehran (IP) - The Chairman of Iran's Sports Federation for the Blinds said if the weather condition in Tokyo had been better, the blind athletes would have better results in the Paralympic games.

Iran PressIran news: In an interview with Iran Press on Tuesday, Mohammad Reza Mazloumi said the blind sports in the Tokyo Paralympics 2020 won medals for the first time in its history.  

The blind sports sent eight athletes to Tokyo in track and field and judo, which resulted in four gold and two silver medals for the Iranian squad.

Mazloumi made the remarks in the welcoming ceremony of the last group of athletes coming back to the country.
