Iran Paralympics squad set a new medal record in Tokyo

Tokyo (IP) - Iran's sports squad set a record at the Tokyo Paralympic Games by winning 12 gold medals, just like the Sydney 2000 Paralympics.

Iran press/ Asia: According to Iran Press News Agency, the Iranian squad in the Sydney Paralympics had won 12 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze medals and a total of 23 medals.

With 12 gold, 11 silver, and one bronze medal and a total of 24 medals that Iran has won in the Tokyo Paralympics, Iranians reached better results in the Tokyo Paralympics than the Sydney Paralympics.

Iran's sports squad ranked 12th in Tokyo Paralympics. For the next two days, Iran has no representative in the Tokyo Paralympic Games.

The weakest result of the Iranian Paralympic squad is in 1992 in Barcelona with one gold, two silver, and one bronze medal.
