Iran Press/ Europe: The Austrian Parliament is the first national parliament in history to co-host the World Conference of Speakers of Parliament (WCSP), together with the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the United Nations.
The Fifth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament takes place on September 7 and 8, building on last year’s virtual segment and its overarching theme of parliamentary leadership for more effective multilateralism that delivers peace and sustainable development for the people and planet.
Its website will feature a general debate, panel discussions regarding current challenges, and, of course, a valuable opportunity for direct interaction between the parliamentary leaders.
Iranian parliamentarians Ahmad Naderi, Mojtaba Yousefi, Mojtaba Rezakhah, and Elham Azad participate in the event.
