Europe (IP): In a message to Ebrahim Raisi, the UN Secretary-General announced the readiness of the United Nations to cooperate with Iran.

Iran PressAmerica: "The United Nations and its Secretary-General are personally interested in working with the new Iranian administration to achieve peace and security, sustainable development and human rights all over the world," António Guterres said in a message to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi. 

"The beginning of your presidency coincided with a critical period for Iran, the region, and the world, as well as many common challenges, such as the COVID-19 epidemic, climate change, devastating conflicts, including in West Asia," he added.

Guterres noted that Iran's significant human and natural resources were an investment in improving the well-being of its citizens, as well as the rest of the world.
