Asia(IP): Iran's sitting volleyball team won its first match versus Germany in the Tokyo Paralympic Games.

Iran PressAsia: In the match, held in Macauori Hall, the Iranian team won the game versus Germany in three consecutive sets with the results of 25-23, 25-16 and 25-17.

The Iranian team will play with Brazil on Monday in Group A.

China and Brazil are the other teams in the group.

Group B also consists of teams from Japan, Bosnia, the National Paralympic Committee of Russia and Egypt.

Iran's sitting volleyball team, led by Hadi Rezaei, is looking to snatch its seventh Paralympic gold medal.

Iran was the winner in 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2008 and 2016 Paralympic Games.
