Tehran (P) - The proposed Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Hamid Sajjadi is not revolutionary, not in thought and behavior, says an opponent parliament member who stressed that MPs have no right to choose the wrong way in the critical situation of the country.

Iran PressIran news: In opposition to the proposed Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Mohammad Mehdi Farvardin said that the country is in at one of the most critical moments in history, and "we, the representatives, have no right to choose the wrong way."

Farvardin said that the only way out of the current situation is to think and act revolutionary, which these characteristics have not been seen in Hamid Sajjadi.

The Chairman of the parliamentary faction of sports added: Iranian people elected the president hoping to meet their demands, so we, as members of parliament, must protect their achievement. The proposed minister has not made any changes during his tenure.

Ali Yazdikhah, another opponent to the proposed minister, criticized the lobbying of the proposed minister for a vote of confidence, saying: "Such a person who is managed by others is not capable of management."

Referring to the title of the ministry, he added: " Mr. Sajjadi is not an expert in sports, not the youth, while our youth are struggling with many problems such as divorce and addiction, and its plans in this area are not enough."

The sessions of Iran's Parliament for the vote of confidence to the President Raisi's cabinet began on Saturday with his speech defending his administration's plans and suggested cabinet.

By the speech of Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Parliament, the procedure kicked off and will continue to the end of the vote of confidence.
