Iran PressIran News: Bahram Eninollahi, President Ebrahim Raisi's proposed Minister of Health called the health of the people his redline and defended his proposed plan, saying: "As we were in the eight years of the holy defense, now the defense of health should not be suspended by a person or thing; The lives of the people are the most important blessing of God, and preserving the lives of the people is the first priority of the administration."

He noted on Monday that Iran's fight against COVID-19 also mobilized the defenders of health and put them at the forefront, adding: "I felt the difficulty of COVID-19 disease with my skin and flesh, and in March 2020, I was one of the first doctors to contract COVID-19 and see death with my own eyes."

Einollahi stated: "Today, chronic non-communicable diseases such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. is one of the problems in the country that can be solved by improving lifestyle and nutrition, and people must observe this issue properly."

The proposed Minister of Health added: "The priority of the Ministry of Health is to provide vaccines, and we will monitor the import process."

He said that the completion of vaccinations by the end of February is another part of his plans in the Ministry of Health.
