Tehran (IP) - Delivering a speech at the parliament session on Sunday, the representative of Tehran said the proposed minister of intelligence was competent but it is necessary to appoint a better case.

Iran PressIran News: Opposing the proposed minister of intelligence Esmail Khatib on Sunday, Gholam-Hossein Rezvani believed that Khatib took no clear stance on the US-backed riots in 2009 instigated in the country, so asking him to clarify in this regard.

He said that when he was responsible as the chairman of Judiciary's Intelligence Security Department no significant activity was observed by him.

He also said that according to the other opponents, the proposed minister did not step in on time to prevent the conspiracies against the country, despite having high capabilities.
