Iranian Lawmakers express opposition to proposed minister of education

Tehran (IP) - Some of Iran's lawmakers opposed the proposed minister of education appointment.

Iran PressIran news: At the open session of the parliament on Saturday, lawmaker Jalal Rahidi Koochi said the proposed minister of education, Hossein Baghgoli, lacked sufficient dominance over the education Ministry.

Sodeif Badri, the representative of Ardabil, said the ministry must not turn to be a place for trial and error. Hossein Baghgoli could not be effective as the minister of education.

Still, Kazem Delkhosh Abatari said the proposed minister could not receive the vote of confidence since the ministry had never employed him.

He noted that Baghgoli would fail to meet the teachers' needs. 

Iran Parliament kicked off an open session on Saturday morning to review the list of cabinet ministers of the 13th administration. The parliamentarians will review the list of the cabinet members in the open sessions of the Parliament.
