Herat (IP) - Iran Press' exclusive pictures from Herat, western Afghanistan, show that the city is currently calm after the arrival of Taliban forces.

Iran PressAsia: The people of Herat are carrying out their daily activities and commuting in the city after the arrival of Taliban forces.

Also, on the occasion of Muharram month, mourning flags are hoisted in different parts of the city with 'Salawati' stations are set up to cater to the people. 

The people of Herat are mourning for the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) by attending the mourning rituals held across the city.

Taliban forces entered the Afghan capital, Kabul, last Sunday evening after taking control of various Afghanistan's provinces, including Herat, without having any clash with the Afghan troops.
