Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the mourners of Imam Hussein in the Punjab province of Pakistan.

Iran Press/Iran news: Condemning the terrorist attack, Saeed Khatibzadeh expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the victims of this crime.

Khatibzadeh emphasizing the need to combat all forms of such inhumane and terrorist acts, called for the cooperation of all countries in the region to continue to fight the perpetrators, organizers, supporters and sponsors of such acts.

On Thursday, terrorists hurled several grenades at Husseini mourners in the Bahāwalnagar city of Punjab, which martyred at least three mourners and wounding more than 50 others.

The terrorist act was widely condemned by Pakistani officials and religious leaders. 219
