Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei attended a mourning ceremony marking the Tasu'a night.

Iran Press/Iran news: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei attended a mourning ceremony at the Husseiniyeh of Imam Khomeini on Tasu'a night to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions (greetings be upon them).

Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus global pandemic, COVID-19, and special emphasis of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the mourning ceremony was held without the participation of people and lovers of the infallible household of the Holy Prophet (SW).

Tasu'a night is the ninth day of Muharram and the day before Ashura, on which Imam Hussein (AS) was martyred. 219
