Iran Press/ Iran news: In a press conference held at the Health Ministry on Monday, Mohammad Reza Shanesaz highlighted that Iran successfully prepared all prerequisites for the domestic COVID-19 vaccine infrastructure in the country.
Shanesaz underlined that two homemade COVID-19 vaccines received FDA license, and nonstop efforts were fully made to import vaccines to contain the disease soon.
Emphasizing that Iran was the third country in the world to produce Remdisivir as an approved and proscribed anti-corona medicine, he noted that Iran had significantly increased its anti-corona items, including masks, ventilators, and medicines to combat the virus, improve the country's economy, and meeting people's needs.
The official also referred to the long-term plan of Iran's FDA to resist the imposed sanctions on Iran and noted that the country banned importing similar products in order to create opportunities for domestic producers of medical equipment and pharmaceutical supplements.
