Kabul (IP): Sources told Iran Press that Ali Ahmad Jalali will head the interim administration in Afghanistan for six months.

Iran PressAsia: Informed sources said that with the mediation and guarantee of the former President of Afghanistan Hamed Karzai and Abdullah Abdullah, the Chairman of the Reconciliation Council, the Taliban board of leaders arrived at Kabul International Airport.

According to the Iran Press news agency, quoting informed sources, the Taliban leadership team is scheduled to travel to the Afghan presidential palace in Kabul for talks, and on Sunday evening, Ali Ahmad Jalali will head the interim administration in Afghanistan for six months.

At the same time, various news sources reported that Ashraf Ghani would leave Kabul this evening.

Earlier, the Taliban said in a statement that they would not enter Kabul by force and that talks were underway to enter Kabul peacefully.

The Taliban said in a statement that they had ordered all their forces to stop at the gates of Kabul.

"The Taliban are not launching a military attack on Kabul," Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban's spokesman in Afghanistan, told Iran Press on Sunday afternoon about the Taliban's stance on the Afghan capital, Kabul.
