Nigeria (IP)- Simon Lalong the Governor of Plateau State, Nigeria, has condemned the killing of 22 Muslims in the state by gunmen.

Iran Press/Africa: Simon Lalong called on Plateau security officials to do everything possible to arrest those involved in killing Muslims.

On Saturday, shooters attacked the village of Rukuba in Plateau, killing 22 Muslims and wounding 14 others.

Meanwhile, some sources in an interview with Iran Press in Nigeria stated that the death toll was 30.

Most of the victims were from the state of Ondo in southwestern Nigeria.

Simon Lalong (born 5 May 1963 in Shendam, Plateau State) is a Nigerian lawyer and politician who is the present Governor of Plateau State, Nigeria.
