Tehran (IP) - 'The 19th World Imam Hossein Infants Assembly' was held on the first Friday of Muharram month, August 13, at ' Imamzadeh Saleh (AS) Holy Shrine, here in Tehran in full compliance with the health protocols.

Iran PressIran news: The ritual has also been held across the country, and in a statement, all mothers and their infants renewed allegiance with Imam Hussein (as).

To convey the message of humanity, resistance, and loyalty, the ceremony is held simultaneously in 45 countries of the world as well.

In a symbolic move, mothers clad their infants in green to commemorate the youngest martyr of the Karbala, Ali Asghar (AS), and follow the path of Imam Hussain (as).

The International Day of Ali Asghar (AS) narrates and screens the incident of Ashura and the oppression, pressures, and bullying on Imam Hussain (as) and his companions.

The World Ali Asghar (AS) Assembly is a religious congregation that was established in 2003 aiming at respecting Islamic rituals and Imam Hussain's (as) path.

Ali Asghar (AS) was the youngest son of Imam Hussein(as), the third infallible Imam martyred during the Battle of Karbala, so his martyrdom is commemorated by the Shia, the humanitarian quintessence of the innocent victim.
