A spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement said the Israeli foreign minister's visit to the Maghreb was unacceptable.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to Palestine Today, Tariq Salmi, the spokesman of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, condemned the visit of Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid to Morocco.

Salmi said since some countries led by Algeria, had decided to expel Israel from the African Union, the Israeli foreign minister's visit to an Arab country on the African continent is condemned and unacceptable.

The spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad said: "The normalization of relations with the Zionist enemy is a failed policy that does not arise from the will of the Arab and Islamic nations and is contrary to the demands of the nations which is based on liberating Palestine and expelling the Zionist regime."

Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid traveled to Morocco on Wednesday.

Lapid is scheduled to meet with some Western officials, including Foreign Minister Nasser Burita.

After the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan, the Kingdom of Morocco was the fourth country to announce the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime last year. 219
