Army's Navy commander:
Iran Dena destroyer to leave for naval mission

Konarak (IP): Iranian Army's Navy commander said on Tuesday that homemade Dena destroyer is scheduled to join the Navy's 3rd Fleet Zone to leave for a naval mission.

Iran PressIran News: Paying a visit to the Navy’s 3rd Fleet Zone of Iran’s Army, Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi referred to the importance of the development of maritime civilization under the shadow of sustainable security and called the building of the 100 vernacular vessels as a sign of Iranian experts’ self-sufficiency.

The commander noted: "Hoisting the holy flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran and ensuring the security of the sea borders in order to protect Iran's interests, the presence of the strategic naval fleets of the army in international waters shows a manifestation of Iran’s authority and pride."

Referring to the need to strengthen the trans-regional presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran in international waters, Rear Admiral Khanzadi said: "The all-Iranian Dena destroyer is an epic of the intelligence and talent of Iranian engineers and technologists which will soon join the Navy's 3rd Fleet Zone based in Konarak."

The Iranian Army's Navy commander said: "The capability of this force in all fields is constantly increasing to provide a way for the next generation of Iranian sailors so that they will be able to carry out the assigned missions more easily and to take an important step towards the development of maritime civilization with the motto of peace and friendship.”
