Parliament speaker:

Tehran (IP) - Meeting with reporters on Monday in the Parliament's hall, Iran's Parliament speaker stressed that journalists must defend the truth to fulfill their mission properly.

Iran PressIran news: In the meeting, the reporters raised their concerns with Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, referring to the difficult job of journalism in the coronavirus situation.

Ghalibaf also confirmed the journalists' concerns in this regard and stated that journalists should have job security, and this issue should be addressed through a transparent bill.

Elaborating on journalists' duties in society, he emphasized that the journalists must defend the truth, and if it does not happen, they will fail to fulfill their mission properly.

The Speaker also stressed that one of the journalists' duties was to send accurate and complete news so that the enemy could not take advantage of the media inside the country by receiving an incomplete message.
