Tehran (IP) - Nicaraguan Foreign Minister says Iran and Nicaragua have complementary economies that can meet each other's needs.

Iran PressIran news: Heading a delegation, Nicaragua's Foreign Minister Denis Moncada visited the Iranian institute for American and European studies Iran-Eurica on Sunday.

Delivering a speech there, Moncada referred to the commonalities of the two countries, including their anti-US positions, saying Iran and Nicaragua have complementary economies that can meet each other's needs.

He also pointed to the inadequate knowledge of the two countries about each other and the destructive role of the US and Western media. He stressed the need to develop communication between institutions and think tanks of both sides such as Eurica institute. 

The Nicaraguan Foreign Minister highlighted the potential of the Latin American region to counter the US policies and their readiness to establish an anti-sanction bloc in cooperation with other international allies.
