Tehran(IP): The spokesman of the presiding board of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran (Parliament) said that the swearing-in ceremony of the 8th President would be held on Thursday in the presence of 115 officials from 73 countries of the world in the Islamic Consultative Assembly.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking at the press conference and while explaining the details of the ceremony, Nezamuddin Mousavi stated: "Due to the importance of this national ceremony and by observing the two principles of holding a glorious and dignified ceremony as well as observing health protocols, the foreign guests and civil guests were invited."

He added: "Based on the latest information, so far 10 heads of state and government have voiced their readiness to attend the ceremony."

Mousavi said: "Also, 20 speakers of parliament, 11 foreign ministers, 10 ministers from different levels and special representatives of heads of various governments and heads of parliaments in the form of parliamentary delegations will participate in the swearing-in ceremony on Thursday."

The spokesman of the presiding board of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran noted: "Officials and representatives of 11 international and regional organizations have also announced their readiness to attend in the ceremony in Tehran, including the representatives of the UN Secretary-General, the President of OPEC, the European Union, Eurasia, Inter-parliamentary Union (IPU), G8 and Economic Cooperation Organization(ECO)."

It Is also worth mentioning that earlier, the members of the Guardian Council of the Iranian Constitution signed the credentials of the President-elect and sent them to the Office of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

The endorsement ceremony of President-elect Ebrahim Raisi will be held on Tuesday (August 4) in the presence of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and a group of officials of the Islamic Establishment in Imam Khomeini's Husseiniyah.
