Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Minister of Oil says gas extraction from the South Pars field has reached 700 million cubic meters per day.

Iran PressIran News: At the ceremony of opening the projects of the Oil Ministry on Sunday, Bijan Zanganeh reported that crude gas production from the South Pars joint field has increased 2.5 times compared to 2013, which was 280 million cubic meters per day.

Zanganeh said: "During these eight years, about $ 25 billion has been invested in South Pars field, and with the production of gas from other fields that we had, we reached a record of 1,000 million cubic meters of gas per day,".
