Managers and representatives of Iranian and Russian knowledge-based companies held a joint meeting in Moscow to emphasize the development of cooperation and the implementation of joint technology programs.

Iran PressEurope: Managers and representatives of Iranian and Russian knowledge-based companies in a meeting in Moscow, while examining ways to remove obstacles and problems, called for more cooperation to ensure common interests and counter US and Western sanctions against Tehran and Moscow.

"Both countries have great potential in the field of technology, especially in the field of medicine and medical equipment," said Alexei Nichayev, CEO of Russia's Vitol, noting: "Iran and Russia should turn the threat of sanctions into an opportunity for cooperation."

Ghadir Ghiafeh, President of the Export Confederation of Iran, also stressed the need for more interaction between the knowledge-based companies of the two countries and stressed: "Certainly, holding joint meetings can pave the way for strengthening trade and trade relations."

Mahdi Ghaleh Noei, head of the International Cooperation Center of the Vice President Office for Science and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, also called the meeting an important step in developing cooperation between Iranian and Russian knowledge-based companies.
