Kermanshah (IP) - Quri Qal'eh Cave has located 25 km from Ravansar city of Kermanshah province, at the foot of Shahoo mountain and overlooking the Ravansar-Paveh road, with 65 million years history.

Iran PressIran news: Quri Qal'eh Cave with a history of 65 million years dates back to the second period of geology and is located in Kermanshah province, western Iran.

Quri Qal'eh Cave is located 25 km from Ravansar city of Kermanshah province, at the foot of Shahoo mountain and overlooking the Ravansar-Paveh road.

In 1976, a group of English geologists discovered the Quri Qal'eh Cave, and geological studies began on the cave.

Quri Qal'eh cave has 40% to 60% humidity and its temperature is between 7 to 11 degrees Celsius. This cave, with its various geological chandeliers and phenomena, is home to a rare species of bat called the Mouse-eared bats and the yellow salamander.

Quri Qal'eh Cave has two main phases that are of interest to tourists. The first phase, with a length of 500 meters, is the bed for the formation of two halls called 'Maryam Hall' and 'Kohan-e-Shotor' Hall.

The second phase of Quri Qal'eh Cave is 1000 meters long and the bride hall is located in this section, which has a unique beauty.

Quri Qal'eh Cave is one of the most beautiful sights and tourist attractions in Ravansar city of Kermanshah province and is a destination for tourists, especially in summer.
