Iran Press/ Iran news: At the closing ceremony of the Farabi International Award, the President's message was read by Gholamreza Ghaffari, Deputy Minister of Culture and Social Affairs of the Ministry of Science and Secretary of the 12th Farabi International Festival.
Rohani stated that despite the restrictions and sanctions, the Islamic Republic of Iran had made significant progress in the humanities, relying on the talents of its younger generation.
Hassan Rouhani, pointing out that our country is still facing new and serious threats, clarified that a great responsibility lies with thinkers and scientists in the humanities and social sciences in such circumstances.
In this message, Rouhani added: "Holding the Farabi International Award has always been a good opportunity to recognize the humanities and Islamic sciences and to introduce the country's top talents and scientific advances."
The President of Iran pointed out: "The scientific power of the country, which has been achieved with the academic community's efforts in various fields, is the main basis of the national authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran in global relations."
