Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said that the creation of any cultural space creates a healthier city and also plays a significant role in terms of cultural economy.

Iran PressIran news: At the inauguration ceremony of the 'Palace of Art Garden', Abbas Salehi added that Iran has made great strides in national development over the past 100 years, and after the Islamic Revolution.

He stated that so far, the development of Iran's green space has an acceptable average, and there is 11 meters of green space for every Iranian.

Salehi pointed out that the city is the place where people live the in the indigenous way, physically and mentally, highlighting that if culture is not used in these three cases, people's lives will be disrupted.

Emphasizing the efforts of various cultural groups to promote the culture of cities, he noted that in 2013, there were 317 cinemas in the country, which increased to 635 in 2019.

Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance stated that one of the ideas that has been implemented in recent years, and see it in the 'Palace of Art Garden' complex, is that cities can create places for cultural and art events to enter and exit in a regional manner.

The specialized center of Iranian arts called 'Palace of Art Garden' inaugurated on Saturday in the presence of Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Abbas Salehi, Tehran's mayor Pirouz Hanachi and other officials in Tehran.
