Tehran (IP)- The director-general of the Coordinating Office of the Export Promotion Center of Iran stated that 74% of Iran's exports went to five countries.

Iran PressIran news: China, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Afghanistan are Iran's top five export markets in the first three months of this year, accounting for 74 percent, the director-general of the Coordinating Office of the Export Promotion Center of Iran said on Saturday.

Hamid Zadboom added: "China with 3 billion and 144 million dollars (29%), Iraq with 2 billion and 343 million dollars (22%), UAE with 1 billion and 275 million dollars (12%), Turkey with 594 million dollars ( 6%) and Afghanistan with 569 million dollars (5%) are destinations of Iranian exports.

According to the director-general of the Coordinating Office of the Export Promotion Center of Iran, petrochemicals and natural gas condensate with 51%, mining and mineral industries with 28%, agriculture and food industry with 12%, carpets, handicrafts with 3%, and industry with 9%, are the items which have been exported during the period.

India, Thailand, Pakistan, Indonesia and Ghana are other countries which import Iranian goods.
