Beirut (IP) - Lebanon PM-designate Saad Hariri steps down after failing to form a government for more than 8 months.

Iran Press/Middle East: Lebanon’s prime minister-designate Saad Hariri has presented a new cabinet proposal to President Michel Aoun in a move that could end nearly nine months of deadlock as the country faces economic collapse.

In his press conference after the meeting with Lebanese President Michel Aoun, he announced his disagreement with the president and withdrew from forming the government.
