COVID daily death toll in Iran increases to 201

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that COVID-19 had taken the lives of 201 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 86,592.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to July 15, 2021, 3,464,055 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 3,086,017 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 23,655 cases, out of whom 2,552 patients were hospitalized.

4,064 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 24,819,290 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 169 cities are red, 166 are orange, and 113 are yellow zones.

So far, 5,507,841 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 2,219,693 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 7,727,534 doses.
