Tehran (IP) - Addressing the head of the Hamas' political bureau and the secretary-general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, the president-elect of Iran said the Islamic Republic would continue to support Palestine.

Iran PressIran news: The Head of Hamas' Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, and the Secretary-general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement Ziad al-Nakhalah made a phone call with the Iranian President-elect Ebrahim Raisi.

Raisi once again congratulated the great victory in the battle of "Sword of Quds" with the Israeli regime and stated: "Rest assured that Iran will continue to defend Palestine and support its people until the liberation of al-Quds."

Haniyeh also congratulated Raisi on his victory in the Iranian presidential election and thanked the Islamic Republic for its support to Palestine.

Al-Nakhalah also wished success to the Iranian president-elect and appreciated Iran's support for the Palestinian people and the resistance.
